Grassfed Ground Beef or Ground Turkey 2 lb
- For turkey choose dark meat over light meat
Tomato Sauce 1 can
Red Bell Pepper 1 whole
Celery 3 stalks
Carrot 2 large, whole
Poblano Chile 1 whole
White Onion 1 medium, whole
Garlic 2-4 cloves
- depending on preference
Grassfed Butter or Coconut Oil
- use while browning the meat
Chili Powder 2 tbsp
Cumin 1/2 tbsp
Oregano 1 tbsp
Basil 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Pepper 1 tsp
Cayenne 1/2 tsp

Optional Ingredients

Serrano Chile or Jalapeño Chile 1 whole
- add if you want an extra kick
Dark Chocolate or Unsweetened Cacao Powder 1 square of chocolate or tbsp of powder


  • Chop all veggies.
  • In large skillet melt butter or coconut oil, then add garlic and ground meat. Stir and let meat brown and break into chunks, but you don’t have to fully cook it.
  • Add all ingredients to a crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours!
