Tawnee has obtained her master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in strength and conditioning, and has multiple certifications such as the gold-standard and highly respected Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), awarded by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Tawnee spent nearly a decade of her life 100% all-in and committed to endurance racing—mostly triathlon, but also run road running, mountain biking, trail races, open water swims, and more. She was a top-ranked age-group triathlete with dozens of podium finishes, multiple 70.3 World Championship appearances, and experience in events ranging from sprint triathlons to 140.6-mile full-Ironman events. After her own struggles with health and pursuing deep healing, she is an example of how to balance fitness and health for optimal outcomes and longevity.
